“A customer is the most important visitor on our premises, he is not dependent on us. We are dependent on him. He is not an interruption in our work. He is the purpose of it. He is not an outsider in our business. He is part of it. We are not doing him a favor by serving him. He is doing us a favor by giving us an opportunity to do so.” – Mahatma Gandhi
As a little girl, Jennifer was often found playing hide and seek in the showroom of The Kitchen Source as her dad worked. Filled with full-scale kitchens and bathrooms, she often ducked behind the cabinets and walls of the spaces so that she could watch her dad “make friends.” While she knew that her dad helped people create beautiful spaces in their homes, she just thought he had a lot of friends come visit him at the showroom. She didn’t realize until much later that these “friends” were actually clients and that these friendly conversations were how her father built one of the leading kitchen and bath design and remodel companies in Dallas and Fort Worth.
While Jennifer could have easily jumped into the family business, she first wanted to gain success on her own. After ten years in the corporate world and achieving many accolades, Jennifer felt called to join her father in the business that had been in her family for two generations. She joined The Kitchen Source in 2013.
With honed business skills and a knack for details like her father, Jennifer is leading The Kitchen Source alongside her dad into the digital era. She is working to strategically blend the keen sense of customer service and personal attention that is the cornerstone of her father’s business with the immediacy and customized interaction that is demanded by today’s consumers.
A graduate of Texas A & M University, Jennifer can often be found supporting the Horned Frogs, Texas Rangers, or Dallas Cowboys. She has a natural zest for life and counts her family, friends and God among her greatest blessings.
